World Geopark List
List of UNESCO Global Geoparks (UGGp)
In April 2021, the UNESCO’s Executive Board approved the designation of 8 new sites demonstrating the diversity of the planet’s geology as new Geoparks. The Executive Board also approved the extension of an existing Geopark. With this year’s additions, the number of sites in the Global UNESCO Geoparks Network is brought to 169 in 44 countries.
